The Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR) has developed a series of SEN micromodules for CUHK teaching staff to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to support students with different types of Special Educational Needs (SEN). Upon completing the micromodule, teaching staff will gain a better understanding of how to support students with SEN across various teaching contexts, including lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, assessments, and communication. The micromodules cover seven types of SEN: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Hearing Impairment (HI), Speech and Language Impairment (SLI), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Visual Impairment (VI), and Physical Disability (PD). As teaching staff are often busy during the semester, they may choose to explore the sections that are most relevant to their teaching needs.
