To introduce proper ways of using the fitness room to students, the Physical Education Unit has organized 1 – 2 lessons for undergraduate students of each required physical education course. This online course aims to supplement the conventional course by providing resistance training knowledge to students through a web-based approach. It is expected that students can use the fitness equipment safely, confidently and in accordance with their needs through a web-based resistance training video. Students could watch the video before or after the conventional course as a briefing or for revision. Their learning is extended beyond the classes with web-based materials. With updates to the project materials, students can pursue continuous learning of resistance training. In this way, not only does the project contribute to the required physical education programme, but it also enhances students’ health and fitness in the long run.
